Orwa Eyade is an experienced media and communication professional with over 15 years in television, radio, academic research, and consulting. He has held leadership positions in prominent media organizations throughout the Middle East and Europe, including Head of Production at Radio Souriali and Art Director at the Syrian General Organization of Radio & Television. Currently, Orwa is a Research Associate and PhD candidate at Hildesheim University, where his research focuses on the role of alternative media in conflict zones and societal transformation. He holds a master’s degree in media studies and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and he is fluent in Arabic, English, and German.
Abdulkader Baki is a doctor in Nanotechnology and the founder of Landesverband der syrischen Akademiker RL-P. With a strong passion for science and technology, Abdulkader is dedicated to making an impact in these fields. Through his work with Landesverband der syrischen Akademiker RL-P, he focuses on supporting and connecting Syrian scholars and professionals, helping them grow and pushing the boundaries of innovation in nanotechnology and biomedical fields.
Dr. Bassam Janji received his PhD in Oncology from the University of Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France, and completed postdoctoral research at the Institut Curie, Paris. He joined the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH) in 2004 as a researcher and was promoted to senior researcher in 2011. In 2015, he became Deputy Head of the Experimental Cancer Research Laboratory, and in 2019, he was appointed Head of the Tumor Immunotherapy and Microenvironment (TIME) unit at LIH.
