ACT HC4-SPR6 Sport Pressure Plate with Race Rigid 6-Pad Clutch Disc

The ACT clutch kit includes a Sport pressure plate, 6-pad rigid race disc, release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool. The Sport pressure plate allows for a 20 to 40 percent increase in clamp load over the stock unit. ACT's Sport pressure plates have a pedal feel that is stock to moderate and are recommended for use with a street disc. ACT pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure an exclusive four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency and some are reinforced to reduce flex and improve efficiency and the feel of the pressure plate. ACT pressure plates are manufactured from new units not rebuilt from worn out parts and are 100 percent tested and computer balanced for smooth operation at high RPM. ACT's 6-pad rigid race discs are made with high quality, ceramic friction materials and all friction pads are measured, sorted and matched before assembly to ensure each disc is uniform in thickness. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability and the lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. The 6-pad rigid race disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat and for smoother engagement. This disc is not recommended for street use. All ACT race discs are certified as meeting SFI Specification 1.1 and are legal in all racing organizations that require SFI certification. The kit is completed with a quality, stock replacement release bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.
