Its name comes from the Tonale Pass in the Alps, continuing the tradition of naming models from Italian places. The design of the car has been developed in the Centro Stile Alfa Romeo in Turin and is inspired by the classic brand models. The characteristic triangle grill "Scudetto" and "3+3" reflectors, inspired by the SZ Zagato model, highlight the sporty character of the vehicle. Tonals are produced in a historic factory in Pomigliano d'Arco near Naples, where the legendary models of Alfa Romeo were formed. It is also the first model of the brand already designed under the wings of Stellantis. The car combines elegant design, dynamic performance and the latest technologies while remaining true to the brand's DNA. Its main competitors are BMW X1 and Audi Q3, however the unique Italian style and the emotional character make Tonale stand out from rivals.
