CBW Black Aluminum Threshold 4" Wide 1/2" High To replace existing Threshold: 1)Remove old Threshold 2)Use old Threshold as a template to mark ends of new threshold for cutting. 3)Trim ends of new threshold with hacksaw. 4)Caulk ends of threshold, and under full length of legs (important for effective sealing and moisture control. For new installation: 1)Measure door opening between jambs at floor level. Use a hacksaw to cut threshold to this length. 2)When installed, flat section of threshold sould be directly below center line of closed door. 3)Caulk ends of threshold, and under the full length of legs (important for effective sealing and moisture control) 4)Install the threshold with enclosed screws. 5)Adjust the door bottom or door sweep to make an air and water-tight seal.
