The 9 inch blade is forged from SAE 1095 carbon steel, an alloy long favored for machetes thanks to its toughness, edge-holding, and ease of resharpening in the field. A 90 degree ground spine doubles as a ferro-rod striker for instant fire-starting at camp, and a draw-knife hole supports two-handed control for fine carving and feathersticking. The classic convex Condor Edge profile holds up to repeated heavy chopping without chipping.

Micarta handle scales lock the grip in even with sweaty palms, and the proportions are tuned for the kind of all-day swing tropical work demands.
